So back in September a bunch of us found some reallly cheap r/t plane tickets online for Rome ($110). So here begins the trip that we bought.

Day 1
We flew from SFO and had a 5hr layover in Amsterdam. There, we strolled around and did some window shopping, lunch, and perusal of the red-light district. We rushed back from town to the airport, begged to cut in front of about 40 people in security line and made it to our plane 5mins before takeoff. After arriving in Rome, we took a train from the airport to the central Rome train station, to take another train to Florence. The couple facing me on the train made out for 2 hours on the entire ride. ick!
