My Stay in Taiwan
Well I'm here in Taiwan for a little change of scene from my normal days of unemployment back home. I figure I need to go out and do something different and learn something new. So one thing I'm doing for sure is learning how to read and write Chinese at Taiwan Normal University for at least a semester. In the meantime I hope to be doing other interesting things as well.

- Restaurants & Food - Duuude, there's so much good food to eat here! I made a list of some of the restaurants I've been to and food I've eaten.
- People I've met here.
- Interesting English - or "Engrish". Sure there are plenty of typos, which I've disregarded. But then there are other english phrases which I found interesting or completely whacked.
- Pictures - Just a collection of all the pictures I've taken with my convenient digital camera.
- Misc. Thoughts and Observations - Besides blahgging, here are some other short, random comments I've had about Taiwan.

Things I intend to accomplish in Taiwan
- learn chinese so that when i come back, i'll be speaking nothing BUT chinese! no english!! in fact, i'll forget all english!
- know how to sing all the mandarin karaoke songs!
- and come home as a high-maintenance fobby chick! haha
- hopefully i'll make some friends who are around my age
- and we'll find out what to do for fun in taiwan
- know all the good places to eat
- know where to find cheap softwarez and gamez
- and hopefully have some fun
- take a lot of interesting, possibly nice photos of taipei, that'll make the city look appleaing
- and post those pictures on this site!

Things I'm going to miss about home
- watching american movies before the rest of the world
- ultimate frisbee wednesdays!
- Bay Area weather
- driving too fast
- clean air, clean streets, cleanliness...
- and of course all my friends including:
-- scritch and watching dvds on his monster home theater and riding around in his cars
-- supersoy and his cooking
-- kevin and giving him rides, oh and getting rides from him when i'm too tired, or drunk. ;p
-- marge and our telekinetics :P
-- "the happy trio" (jim, henry, & mike) and lounging around at their happenin' house
